Trouble with video streaming on netbook

I just purchased a Dell netbook (Intel N455 Single Core, 1.66GHz, 1GB DDR3 1333MHz 1 DIMM, Windows 7 Starter) and I'm having trouble with streaming video (TV shows from network sites) not playing properly. It will play for a couple of minutes, then seems to stop and buffer, but won't start again. Sometimes the screen has gone black and a 'this content is no longer available' message comes up, which I've never seen before from watching on our other computers. Speedtest shows a download speed ~3-4Mbps.

It seems strange to me that a brand new machine designed for web browsing would be having trouble with video. Is there something I'm missing?

Thank you.

Most netbooks can't stream like that. Nothing's really busted, it's just a limitation of the slower CPU and video.

Not strange at all. Netbooks continue to be OK for email and most web stuff. Not a good choice for video streaming or games.
