In January the backlight in the screen went out. The warranty was about to expire so I contacted Dell and I sent it to them to be fixed. When it returned the light would flicker but stayed on mostly. The warranty was expired at this point. In early March the lower corner started getting hot and black. When I shut it off and came back a while later the black would be gone and within 15 minutes of using it the corner would start getting hot and black again.
I thought this might be an inverter problem and my fiance has the same model computer so I tried his inverter in my computer and the light still goes out but the corner no longer gets hot.
What can I do to fix this?
