I Googled "MS Word Monster Tab" and "MONSTER.COM tab" couldn't find anything relevant, besides your own post here.
I did find a web site called "MONSTER.COM".
Care to explain more?

I recommended the following:
Delete the normal.dotm file while MSWord is closed under:
C:Users<user>AppDataRoamingMicrosoftTemplates
Then re-open Word and a new blank one should be created.
I deleted all the template files, re-opened word and the Lisa Miller resume had gone, so had the MONSTER.COM tab, and all the original word templates worked OK.
MONSTER.COM IT support had no idea what the problem was, and how it fix it. All the templates have gone, along with the TAB advertising.

So, I too downloaded this stupid template. Found this and was like shoot no easy answer. Went back into Word and if you have enabled the developer tab go to "Document Template" replace the junk that is the document template box with "normal" and poof no more stupid monster tab. Sure it's still "available" on the templates overall but it removes it from the resume document you created.

Open the "Monster" document in question.
Click on "Office" button.
Select "Prepare" then "Inspect Document"
A report comes up.... the Monster info is under "Document properties and personal information. Just remove it.
Note: I had to remove it under each document created.

Thank you. Reply 6 worked. Monster tab - gone.
