Recomendation please on a HDMi Video card

I'm looking for an HDMI Video card for IBM desktop re dual core (Intel p-4) running Win XP. I have a PCI E slot.
I have a HD Monitor. I want to use it for viewing photographs and watching movies. Not a gamer
Any suggestion as to what to look for?
The reason I'm asking is I'm not sure what my system can take full benefit from.
ex: would my system make use of a 1 Gig card or does 512mb suffice?
$100 price range.
