Nikon or Cannon

I've done a fair amount of research. I'm looking for a good digital camera that doesn't break the Bank. I think I've narrowed it down to the Nikon D90 or the Cannon T2i...any advice as to one over the other?

In my mind, that's it in a nutshell. The T2i is certainly a good camera, but it is aimed more at the amateur who wants good specs. The D90 might not look as good on paper, but it handles more like a pro camera. Here's a detailed comparison of the two:
