This was one of my original choices and this may sounds stupid, but I really want a player where you can click on the file and a new or another window will appear. And with VLC it opens up the same window. Thanks again though!

Go to:
Settings >> Preferences... >> Advanced
And tick the "Advanced options" tickbox (bottom-right corner). Untick the "One instance when started from file" tickbox and press "Save". Then when you next double-click a file to open in VLC, VLC should automatically open a new instance.
