Yes, I have whitelisted hl2.exe
EDIT: I can also load Day of Defeat Source maps in Garry's Mod without any fps issues...
Reply 1 : The M11x can run Garry's Mod but not Day of Defeat Source?
Bumping this,
I have tested other source games such as Portal and Team FOrtress 2, they work fine...

I have already tested the latest driver from nvidia's site but it didn't work.

Hmm.. Looks like manskinboots had same problem...
NVIDIA Geoforce GT 335M (11xR2) Causes Game Crashes
Maybe he can enlighten us on if and how he fixed it..
I would suggest re-posting this in the game crashes thread that is a sticky.
M11x - Issues with gaming lockups and crashes - Discussion thread
If anything that will bring it more attention and also its posting it in the correct place and possibly the answer already lies within that thread but I don't have to read through it because I don't have this issue..
The only last thing I can think of is try overclocking CPU and overclocking GPU and also try turning off speed step and turbo boost in the BIOS (do that for both occasions)
Turning off Speed step and turbo boost in BIOS for GTA has increased the performance greatly.. perhaps it will work the same
