New to OC'ing

Hey.



I read somewhere on this forum that it was possible to "safely" OC the 5850 to work the same as a 5870.

This sounds very interesting, and I would love to do it, but I know nothing at all about OC'ing, and would like to hear if any of you could make a step-by-step guide on how to do it?



I saw that there were other threads for OC'ing this GPU, but I dont really understand much of what you are saying, so I would really love it if one of you would make a guide for me (and other newbs)



I would also like to know if I can reset the settings if anything goes wrong, so that dell wont notice when I call for a repair
